We started Neurastick because the most capable AI in the world had become something you rent, on someone else's servers, on their terms.
Our story
Built for people who can't just paste it into a chatbox.
In 2024 our founders were consultants working under strict confidentiality. AI could have halved their workload, but every tool they tried meant uploading client material to a service they didn't control. So they built something else: a USB drive that carried the models with it.
The first Neurastick was a hand-assembled prototype passed around a handful of law firms. Two years later we ship six models nationwide, from a $97 starter to a hardware-encrypted 1 TB Sovereign, and the promise hasn't changed — the AI runs on your machine, and nothing goes anywhere else.
We're a small team in Austin, Texas. We assemble, test and ship every drive ourselves, and we answer our own support email.
